The first being made in 1954, the second one was made in 1983 for another theatrical re-release and was also aired on WOWOW in 1994, the third dub was made in the mid-1980s by Pony/Bandai for ALL home media releases for the film. Two Hungarian dubs exist, both dubs share the same cast with slight differences.The one from 1976 is the dub that is widely available. German has two dubs one from 1952 and the other from 1976.The 1947 dub was used in Canada until 2001 France until 1991. One made in 1947 and another made in 1980. There are three Czech dubs one made in 1974, one in 1994 for TV, and the final one in 2000 was made for ALL home video releases of the film.There is also a rumor that another dub was made in 1986 however the existence of this dub is still unconfirmed. As a side note, the 1998 VHS incorrectly credits the 1973 cast instead of the 1998 cast in the opening credits. All of these dubs are still possible to acquire. Dumbo has been dubbed into Brazilian Portuguese three times one made in 1941, the first redub was done in 1973, and the latest redub was made in 1998. The first dub was released to VHS by Abril Video in the early 1990s, the 1973 dub was released on Blu-Ray in Europe, and the latest redub was released onto VHS in Brazil in 1998.The Bulgarian, Georgian, Lithuanian, Mongolian, and Vietnamese versions are voiceovers.The Standard Arabic, Japanese 1981, Malay, and Serbian dubs were made for TV only and are difficult to obtain.
